Playing Bridge

Playing bridge is one of the most enduring and popular pastimes in the world and for over 100 years, and it has fascinated people of all types and from all walks of life. It is one of the most popular leisure activities in Britain, with around 300,000 people playing on a regular basis.

Bridge is recognised as a mind sport, and it is partnership trick-taking card game of skill.

Bridge for Beginners

The game has two main phases: firstly the "bidding" phase where you determine how many tricks you and your partner think you will win based on the cards you are holding. The second phase is playing the cards to win the number of tricks you estimated.
